Home Run Derby - Round 1 - Thursday 5/18 - Major Field
Beginning at 5:30 PM, 36 players, including 4 qualifiers from AA, 14 from AAA, and 18 Major players who hit at least 1 home run, will compete for 3 spots in the final round on Saturday. Congrats to Bentley Davis, Matthew Dean, Day Gist, and Roman Serrano for advancing to Saturday!
Also, our AAA National League Championship will continue play tonight at 5:30 PM on AAA Field. The Rockies and Mets played a double header last night that ended in a tie. They will resume play today to determine who plays tomorrow night in the AAA Championship! Congrats to the Met's for winning!
Awards & Championship Friday (5/19)
Congratulations to the teams that are playing in championship games! While passions will run high, we ask that all supporters please work to set a positive example for your player, your team and the league by remembering these are kids, this is a game, coaches are volunteers, and umpires are human. from ages 13-18. Please check your email from the Major League Director (Derick Corbett), for further information on your player's spot in a game Tuesday at 5:15 PM or 6:45 PM.
Fall Registration Opens 6/1
Stay tuned for more details on the revised Fall Baseball program, which will open on 6/1. This structure will include more practices and training, coupled with game action for the recreational player and extended fall tournament play for many of those participating on a summer team.
Lost & Found
As a reminder, all hats, gloves, bats, water bottles, and miscellaneous clothing in lost & found will be available for collection this Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM next to the Spirit Shack. If you have found items throughout the season, please drop them off. After Saturday, all remaining items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
Thank you again for your support this season. We look forward to seeing you at the park!
