2023 Spring Season Evaluation Information

Hello MC Baseball Families,

We're excited for the Spring 2023 season! Upper leagues will begin practices on Saturday February 4th with Atlantic, International and Coastal leagues starting the 11th. Rookie and Southern leagues will begin by early March.

As you know, MC Baseball operates as a volunteer-led, 501c3 non-profit organization. Sponsorships are an important source of funding for maintaining the fields and surrounding infrastructure, including scoreboards, batting cages, pitching lanes and the like. If you, your business, or someone you know has interest in a sponsorship, which can include scoreboard and field naming rights, please click here for more information.

To prepare for the season, on Sunday January 22nd, we will hold evaluations for all participants (aside from AAA League, Coaches' players do not need to attend evaluations) at Dunwoody Senior Baseball, 4635 Barclay Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Each player should bring a hat, batting helmet, glove, and bat. Updated MCB bat regulations can be found here. We will monitor for weather and notify by Friday January 20th if any adjustment to times or location is required. Please find the schedule below:

Upper Leagues
Major League 12's, 9am-9:45am (returning Major league players do not need to attend)
Major League 11's, 9:45am-10:30am

AAA League 10's & 11's (Last Names A-K) 10:30am-11:45am
AAA League 10's & 11's (Last Names L-Z) 11:45am-1pm

AA League (Last Names A-K) 9am-10am
AA League (Last Names L-Z) 10am-11am

Lower Leagues
Coastal League (Last Names A-K) 11am-12pm
Coastal League (Last Names L-Z) 12pm-1pm

International & Atlantic Leagues (Last Names A-K) 1pm-2pm
International & Atlantic Leagues (Last Names L-Z) 2pm-3pm

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check-in. Only players and coaches will be allowed on the fields and in the areas between the fields. Supporters are required to remain outside the fences. Those who wish to watch can do so from the stairs leading down from the Peachtree Middle School parking lot.

All parking should be at Peachtree Middle School, located at 4664 North Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30338. There is no parking at Dunwoody Senior Baseball or at Brook Run Park for MCB evaluations. Please see the map below for parking and check-in.
